READERS’ CLUB MEETINGS

Readers Club 2022-23. The members of the Readers Club are picked from all the classes starting from Class VI onwards based on their interest in Reading. Readers Club meetings are held four times in a year.

This time Ahana Sharma of class IX was made the President and Aarav Gautam of Class IX was made the Secretary of the Readers Club 2022-23.

The members of the Readers Club are picked from all the classes starting from Class VI onwards based on their interest in Reading. Readers Club meetings are held four times in a year.

The members come up with wonderful suggestions about the books to purchase, the facilities that they expect from the Library, the periodicals that they want the library to subscribe. Its always a fun to interact with all the members of the Club. Their valuable suggestions accepted and acted upon based on feasibility. Its always a fun to hold these sessions. There are 15 members in the Group in total. Interacting with members of the Club about the magazines for which subscriptions need to be taken, brainstorming with them regarding the ideas that could help in improving Library and its collection was enriching. We have incorporated most of them in the Library., like they wanted magazine of National Geographic. Then came some funny demands like purchasing some ghost stories books. This was also incorporated on looking at the vast majority of approvals from the Readers Club members.

READERS CLUB (SESSION 2020-21)

The members of the Readers Club are picked from all the classes starting from Class VI onwards based on their interest in Reading. The Readers Club meetings are held in online mode due to the COVID-19. But the zeal and enthusiasm was as it is. Its always interesting to know what the students want in their library and how to carry out all the activities of READING MONTH AND LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATIONS in online mode.
